President Uhuru Kenyatta has signed into law the Supplementary budget that allocates Kshs 12 billion for October 26 fresh presidential poll and Kshs 25 billion for free secondary education that kicks off in January next year. Building collapses at president Uhuru rally in Karatina
One person died and three others were seriously injured after a building collapsed at Karatina Stadium in Nyeri County during President Uhuru Kenyatta’s campaign rally yesterday. Fourteen others were treated for minor injuries and discharged from Karatina Sub-County Hospital. The hospital's director Caroline Njeri Gichuki said that they received eighteen patients who were injured where four were admitted in the ward.
