Veterans Day marked at Edgewood retirement home in Pierre
Military veterans were recognized for their service at a reception and program on Friday in Edgewood Senior Living Center in Pierre. The Sanford Health Clinic and Avera St. Mary’s Hospital in Pierre will soon be hosting a quartet of doctors-in-training. In about 3 years, there will be four family-medicine residents working out of the Sanford Health Clinic and seeing patients all over town, including at home, at St. Mary’s, in a nursing home and in their own clinic.
